Tacos with curry chicken and homemade cheese sauce

Ingredients

  • For 4 tacos
  • 2 large chicken cutlets
  • 2 onions
  • Curry
  • Persi
  • salt, pepper
  • liquid cream
  • grated cheese
  • Cheese slice for Croque Monsieur
  • Sauce (mayonnaise, ketchup or other)
  • 4 flatbreads (wrap, durum)

Preparation

  1. Cut the onions into small pieces and fry them in a pan with a little oil. In the meantime, cut the chicken cutlets into cubes.
  2. When the onions are boiled down, add the chicken, season with salt and pepper, add the curry and parsley. Cook over a low heat.
  3. When the chicken is cooked, increase the heat and remove the lid to reduce the sauce, then remove and set aside. In the same pan, add the liquid cream and a handful of grated cheese. In the middle of a flatbread, spread some sauce, place two slices of cheese on top, then the chicken pieces and finally the cheese sauce.
  4. To fold, fold over the shorter sides of the rectangle first, then the longer sides like a wallet.
  5. Place on the grill at the last moment to weld the tacos together and melt the cheese.
  6. You can put fries in it, but I personally serve them separately because otherwise I think they are filling and the fries will soften.
