Recipe 4 slices of bread Butter
, if necessary
4 slices of ham
4 eggs 1/2 cup grated cheese
Salt and black pepper to taste
Chopped chives or green onions for garnish
PREPARATION
STEP
1
Preheat the oven to 350ºF.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Place the slices of bread on top of the pan and press down on each slice with a measuring cup to form a hole.
STEP 2 Brush the edges of
the toasted bread with butter. Place a piece of ham in the center of the divot and beat an egg into it. Sprinkle the buttered bread edges generously with grated cheese. Season with salt and pepper.
STEP 3
Bake for 15 minutes or until egg is cooked to your liking. Sprinkle with chopped chives/green onions.
