METHOD
- Put the flour, yeast, sugar, milk (lukewarm), egg yolks and salt in a bowl and mix. When the dough begins to form, knead with your hands.
- Add the butter and continue kneading until a smooth dough is formed. Cover with plastic wrap and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in volume.
- When the time has elapsed, transfer the dough to the work surface and divide into 8 equal pieces. Form the balls (about 60 g) and place them on the baking tray lined with parchment paper. Cover with a cloth and let rise for 2 hours.
- After 2 hours, add the donuts to the pan with hot oil and fry until golden brown and nice and fluffy on both sides.
- Sprinkle the donuts with sugar, fill with strawberry jam and serve.
