METHOD

  1. Put the flour, yeast, sugar, milk (lukewarm), egg yolks and salt in a bowl and mix. When the dough begins to form, knead with your hands.
  2. Add the butter and continue kneading until a smooth dough is formed. Cover with plastic wrap and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in volume.
  3. When the time has elapsed, transfer the dough to the work surface and divide into 8 equal pieces. Form the balls (about 60 g) and place them on the baking tray lined with parchment paper. Cover with a cloth and let rise for 2 hours.
  4. After 2 hours, add the donuts to the pan with hot oil and fry until golden brown and nice and fluffy on both sides.
  5. Sprinkle the donuts with sugar, fill with strawberry jam and serve.
