Danish biscuits, also called Danish butter biscuits or Danish butter biscuits, are delicious and crumbly butter biscuits with a distinctive taste, perfect to enjoy for breakfast or as a snack with a cup of hot tea. Usually, these delicious butter biscuits are sold in the famous blue tin cans that we then use as storage, and so it is possible to prepare them at home . The dough is prepared from flour, sugar, butter and eggs, with the addition of raisinson part of the dough, so as to distinguish the Danish biscuits not only in the shape. Once the dough is ready, we give different shapes to this delicious pastry with the help of parchment paper or a sac à poche . If you want, you can also use the classic Danish cookie cutters. Here are the steps to prepare them.

How to make Danish biscuits
Step 1
Mix butter with sugar and salt until well combined1.
Step 2
Add the egg and stir with the spatula2 until completely combined.
Step 3
Add the sifted flour and knead into a compact dough3.

Divide the dough into 4 parts and mix one part with the raisins4.
Step 5
Roll out three-quarters of the dough, including the part with the raisins, in baking paper and form cylinders5.

Pour the last quarter into the sac à poche and form circles on the baking paper6. Allow all dough portions to cool in the fridge for at least 20 minutes.

Cut the cold buns into slices of equal thickness7.
