If your orchid has wilted, remove the yellowed leaves using sterilized scissors and remove any dry parts of the plant. Remove the plant from the pot and place it in a beaker filled to the collar (the part from which roots and leaves form) with water.
Try not to get the collar wet, otherwise you risk rotting the entire plant (usually 3-4 cm of water is enough). Now take the plant out of the jar and add 1 cm of hydrogen peroxide to the water, mix and transfer the plant piece again .
