However, if the amount of wax poured is significant, there are two alternative methods that can be used: heat and freezing .
It is important to note that these methods can only be applied if the candle jars are made of materials that can withstand very low temperatures , below 18°C , or very high temperatures , above 80°C. It follows that more delicate materials should not be exposed to these extreme temperatures .
So how do you remove wax with frost ? If the wax casting is in a small jar , you can place it in the freezer . The cold will cause the wax to contract , causing it to slide away.

At this point, you can remove any residue by scraping the inside of the jar, then wiping with a microfibre cloth moistened with oil . Finally, you can clean the jar with alcohol and rinse it with warm soapy water.
