When it’s time to come home from our daily duties, there’s nothing more comforting than taking a hot shower. It is as if we let the problems of everyday life out of our bodies and create a layer of peace, harmony and freshness. We arrive and without hesitation we make our way to our healing room, but does the necessary amount of water come out to reach our destination?.
We clean the entire house, even in the invisible places, but do we value our shower? Do we clean them in such a way that the right water comes out every time we shower? Almost certainly not. Rather, it’s almost certain that we’ll notice that it’s dirty when we notice that it’s barely drizzling, which doesn’t even come close to meeting our expectations of our long-awaited bathroom.
Showers get just as dirty as any other part of the house. For more than one reason: they are constantly exposed to water, so fungi and limescale are their most frequent guests. We will then teach you the simplest techniques so that you can carry out a very good cleansing and enjoy your spa again.

1 – Materials needed:
- 1/2 liter white vinegar
- a toothbrush
2 – Step by step:
- Gently twist the shower head to unscrew it from the spout holding it.
- Once you’ve set off with the shower head in hand, you can begin the procedure
- Put 1/2 liter of white vinegar in a saucepan
- bring this product to medium heat and let it get hot until bubbles begin to rise. Or don’t let it boil
- As soon as the bubbles appear, remove it from the heat
- Place the head of the watering can in another wide pot
- Start pouring the vinegar over the watering can little by little
- You’ll see that the vinegar starts to bubble, which means it’s exposing the little holes in your shower.
- You will now leave the vinegar in your shower on for at least twelve hours
- After this time, remove the vinegar shower and proceed to scrape out all the holes with a toothbrush , which will help the most stubborn residue to come out immediately.
- After this process is complete, perform a wash with clean tap water
- Dry your shower well
- Put it back in the spout as it was. Open your shower and you’ll see a lot of water coming out.
Other simple tips for a very clean environment:
Cleaning the bathroom and the objects in it involves some tricks that we should know. All of them are very easy to put into practice.

- If you are short on time and little water comes out of your shower, you can opt to put a bag around the shower, pour white vinegar into it and seal it very well for three hours. Then go over it with a brush to help remove the dirt.
- Clean the drain with an eyebrow or eyelash brush. Every time you finish your bath, guide the brush into the holes with a twist, with this movement you twist the hairs that have settled there.
- Never stop washing the inside of your shower curtain, because with the water and use, fungi will form. Just remove it from the hooks and put it in the washing machine.
- Remove stains from faucets or metal objects. Cut off a slice of lemon, rub it on the faucets and wipe it with a damp cloth.
