Rice 🍚🌾 Soap + Rosehip

.

This great rice soap recipe makes about 1 kilo of soap and we tell you everything you need to do to make it successfully. You can also vary the smell, taste, and design of the soap in terms of size, thickness, texture, and more.

What do I need?

  • 207 grams of boiled rice water
  • 93 grams of caustic soda
  • large or medium container
  • Bulk Or Large Container
  • Spatula or stirring rod
  • 182 grams of olive oil
  • 55 grams of castor oil
  • 36 grams of rosehip oil
  • 109 grams of rice oil
  • 182 grams of shea butter
  • 137 grams of coconut oil
  • Blender or immersion blender
  • Silicone soap mold
  • Blade for cutting soaps

Step by step:

  1. The first thing you need is the water in which you cooked the rice. This water is thicker and contains some of the nutrients of rice. You should put it in the freezer for at least a couple of hours so that it sets
  2. After this is done, you will have to mix it with the caustic soda solution until it softens and both can be combined (this takes a very long time), in a bowl or medium container
  3. At the same time, you should mix the olive oil with rosehip oil, rice oil, castor oil, shea butter and coconut oil in another bowl or larger container.
  4. When the rice water and soda are well incorporated, you need to mix it into the bowl with the oils previously incorporated in the miniquick or blender
  5. If you want to add color, now is the time to do so (we’ll leave you with the step-by-step guide below)
  6. And finally, you need to put the mixture in a long and deep soap mold or in several small ones
  7. If you want the soap to have patterns, stains, or markings, you can apply some of the mixture attached to the dye and then throw it on top of the soap.
  8. When you’re done, cover them with plastic wrap and a cloth on top.
  9. Then you need to let it rest for at least 24 hours (if it has a firm or hard consistency, everything is fine)
  10. When the 24 hours are over, you need to remove the plastic wrap and remove it from the mold
  11. Now, you can cut it into the shape, thickness and size you like the most
  12. After that, you should keep it reserved for 4 weeks
  13. After 4 weeks, it can be used on both the face and body.
