Mealybugs are among the most common, but also the most harmful insects. They can invade our plants and weaken them or even cause them to rot. If you have noticed the presence of mealybugs on your plants, you should know that it is possible to eliminate them with all-natural pesticides.
By inserting their beaks into plants, mealybugs suck the sap, which weakens or causes them to die, depending on the species of the plant and the amount of mealybugs.
As if that wasn’t enough, mealybugs secrete a kind of molasses which, in turn, promotes the appearance of a black mold that causes the leaves to dry out and cause them to fall off.
